Debrah Vambe, Baylor College of Medicine, eSwatini
Debrah Vambe, MD, is a Public Health Specialist and 2024 Global TB Elimination Champion, will discuss TB in Eswatini, highlighting the challenges and specific needs for research and implementation. She will focus on solution-oriented projects to decrease the burden of TB in the country. Dr. Vambe brings a decade of experience in TB and drug resistance TB, currently overseeing the TB GAPS Project and the D43 Siyakhula Project at Baylor College of Medicine.
Luan Vo Nguyen Quang, Friends for International TB Relief (FIT), Vietnam
Luan Vo Nguyen Quang, MPH, is president of "Friends for International TB Relief (FIT)". He co-led Vietnam’s 2015-2020 TB Program Review and is on Vietnam’s Global Fund TB advisory group. Outside Vietnam, he serves on The Union Board as one of the Directors, Stop TB’s Innovation Constituency, WHO’s Civil Society Task Force on TB and WHO-Stop TB's PPM Core Group. His presentation will focus on programmatic implementations to decrease the burden of TB in Vietnam.

Prof. Christoph Lange, MD, is a pulmonologist and infectious diseases specialist. He is the Medical Director of the Research Center Borstel, Leibniz Lung Center, and Professor of Respiratory Medicine & International Health at the University of Lübeck. He is the Head of the Clinical TB Unit in the German Center of Infection Research and a Guest Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX (USA). Prof. Lange is the Secretary General of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease. He was the Founding Chairman of TBnet where he is still engaged for Education.
